Profile of the Admiral

| Comments
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette offers up an interesting profile of U.S. Rep. Joe Sestak, the Delaware County congressman running against Arlene Specter for the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate.  It also answers the question: What has Sestak been up to recently? Apparently, driving around the state visiting veterans groups and small gatherings of Democratic activists. Not exactly a high-profile campaign.  But, Sestak does have $5 million raised and the piece speculates on how a late Sestak media barrage by the campaign might change the numbers in the race.  Polls consistently show Specter with a wide lead, with most voters simply unaware of Sestak and his background.  One thing the piece does nail down: Sestak, as admiral, congressman and candidate, is hell to work for.
