With Joe Sestak surging in some polls, it is worry time for the Arlen Specter campaign. The Inquirer has a
piece today (Monday, May 10) about how Philadelphia will play a key roll for the U.S. Senate incumbent and freshly minted Democrat. Specter has always been popular in the city -- though he never actually won it when he ran statewide as a Republican. Now, he is counting on a strong showing -- and a strong turnout -- to give him a boost, according to the story. If that is the case, he may be in trouble. Turnout in Democratic primaries in the city is consistently among the lowest in the state.
